This is the absolute worst plastic cover for an iPod I have ever used. I have covered the back and screen of two other iPods with products from competitors that are FAR better than this. I followed the directions to a tee when I placed these covers and within two days the front cover caught on something and peeled off. The back cover caught on something a day later and also began to peel. Maybe if these were static cling they would've actually gripped the contours of my 160gb Classic. This product is Garbage! Why am I writing a review for it now (on Nov. 6, 2007)? Well, because there is only one other customer review on this website for this amazing product, and it does not truly represent the quality of this iPod accessory. For one thing, applying the shield was easy FOR ME. It's not a dust magnet! I wore some latex gloves (even powdered ones) and I did not pick up any lint or dust like the other customer did. I applied a couple of sprays of water on each side of the film (sticky side and front side), and carefully placed the shield over my WHITE 60GB video iPod. It was easy then and it still is. I recently purchased iPod Touch shield and that one was even easier since Invisible Shield now supplies a small squeegee for the application. Word of advice: Wear powder-free latex or vinyl gloves when installing, and clean the iPod prior to applying. I am a very careful person, and it is next to impossible to get this on the Ipod without specks of dust, etc. ---even using a sterile environment. Take away the adhesive and it might fly.
