A bit pricey. I haven't tried any other type of laptop stands except a stainless steel expandable dish holder I found at target years ago, well before any type of decent laptop stands or coolers were made. Since the advent of wireless, I have burned out in one way or the other two motherboards.
I wouldn't hesitate to spend the money on this item again. In fact, I will be buying another of this item for my Mother, whom will be inheriting my ibook. While it can be a bit unwieldy while traveling it is worth the little bit of extra space it might take up. At first the wrist rest seemed excessive but after leaving it at home for a day or two I was sorry I had. The swivel bit in the back is very practical and the angle and height is good. I love this gadget! Better than a couple weeks worth of mochas by and far!
