This is the first case I bought. The fit is nice and tight and the protection feels good. Also the little hole on the side is great to attach the also purchased bungy-cord. At least this saves it from dropping if I am not careful. The buttons are easy to be accessed and the comes off easy and slides right back on. The included zip bag is also nice for headphones and remote. I have chosen the glowing color line and this is perfect in the dark. Also the skin can lay down easy, since there are two buds that keep it steady.
Now the downsides:
- the skin does not fit into the dock, but it slides off easy if you want to dock it (I removed the dock and am just using the cable)
- the screen protector lies down on the iPod's screen where you get these staines that blur the vision a bit
- iTrip or Navipod cannot be attached without removing the top of the skin (putting it back needs the screen protector re-adjusted)
- it stinks: there is a very bad smell on the skin for the first week (it never really disappears I've been told by other users)
- the included zip bag is made from material that sticks to for example the power supply, making it impossible to slide it in there
- the top part is a little too thick, making it difficult to reach the lock button
- the bottom connector is not covered and when the protector that came with the iPod is used it's hard to remove that one
Concluding: a nice protective cover, but I was disappointed about the difficulty reaching the lock button and the screen protector. And I certainly hope that the smell wears off soon... The fact that I cannot attach accessories or dock it is not that bad since the skin is used to have the iPod on-the-go.
