Wow, awesome.
The case is really quite thin, and as far as I can tell does not actually add size to the iPod. Its not exactly jet black, but more swirly... Very cool. The click wheel is still funtional. Its not nearly as smooth as without the case, but definately still fully functioning. It stretches like mad, which is very useful. Once fitted around the iPod it looks awesome, but takes a (short) bit to fit it perfectly. Insignificant, at most.
The ONLY way in which this case is imperfect is that it doesnt fit in the dock with the case (completely) on. You can pull the case back and around, using the bottom window - for the computer wire - as an opening, and it will fit. And you only have to pull off one side, as it fits then. Oh, and it also provides no shock protection. But I didnt buy this case for that, only an idiot would buy a case that says 'ultra thin' with the purpose of using it for shock protection.
Im not sure how well the shape will hold up if I keep up the stretching business, but I would not be overly surprised if it has zero memory and always returns back to its original position.
I purchased this case with the clear screen cover, and although the cover has some minor annoyances about it - watermarks, hard to stick, hard to position, etc... - it works relatively well with this case. A nice combo, as now my entire iPod is covered and scratch/minor droplets of water/hand mark resistant, and it is no-slip, and still fully functioning in this state.
iTrip fits perfectly, and amazingly the hold button is still 100% usable.
My only concern is how well it holds it shape after being stretched night after night after night while I keep it on my dock. (Im still considering whether I should do this at all or not.)
All in all, 9.0 out of 10.
-0.5 because it doesnt fit in the dock (expected!).
-0.25 because it offers no shock protection (expected!).
-0.25 because it might be able to withstand being stretched for long periods of time.
